Plastic is a friend
of the environment
Giussani Stampi visits schools to talk about its trade and to explain that those who do this job are not enemies of the environment. And neither is plastic.
We all become enemies of the environment when we don’t dispose of plastic properly and when we overuse it. The same goes for electricity, water and paper.
Plastic is a material with countless qualities: it is as malleable as clay but not fragile, as strong as metal but light, and it performs many of the functions of wood and paper without deteriorating over time.
In our company we recycle plastic scrap: the material is ground on site or delivered to external partners for regeneration.
What we do

Scrap recycling
Production scrap is ground in-house or sent for regeneration.

Closed loop
Regenerated plastic goes back into the production cycle: runners and moulding scrap are recovered.

School in the company
Meetings with schools and department visits to introduce young people to the trade.

Energy efficiency
We invest in hybrid and electric presses to reduce energy consumption per production cycle.
